La Cathédrale St Pierre de Rabat
La Cathédrale Saint Pierre a été achevée et inaugurée en 1921 par le résident général Lyautey. Les deux flèches que l'on peut appercevoir de loin dans Rabat ont été ajoutée en 1930. La cathédrale St Pierre est le seul édifice religieux ou leculte est pratiqué.Les travaux débutèrent en 1919 sous les directives de l'architecte LA FORGUE. Vous pourrez la découvrir place du Golan.De magnifique vitraux ornent les fenêtre de ce magnifique édifice. Souvant des concerts y sont organisés.

Quelle faste la cathédrale ST PIERRE dans un pays ou les chrétiens sont minoritaires, mais il ne faut rien voir de choquant ni de provoquant dans cet édifice, car en y regardant de plus près on peut voir une merveilleuse architecture qui mélange l'art gothique et l'art musulman. Les deux tourelles ressemblant à des minarets sont les deux clochers de cet édifice.A l'intérieur ont découvre ce que l'art marrocain à de plus beau: Tapisseries, meubles, faïence, vitraux etc....
La grande porte est toujours fermée mais vous pourrez accéder à l'intérieur de cet édifice par les deux portes latérale.

Le dimanche - 09.00 / 11.00-
